FELIX OKAFOR - HSE Manager

Felix has been the HSE Manager of SEGOFS ENERGY SERVICES since inception. He brings in more than two decades of experience in Oil Field Safety to planning, implementing and executing all HSE related matters, development of company’s safety policy, manual, emergency response procedures, etc. He also organizes staff safety orientation and training, carries out technical safety audits and inspections on company’s base and work site facilities, ensures that the company meets up all clients’ and DPR safety standards and also prepares HSE statistics and performance report.

Prior to this, he was the HSE coordinator for SEGOFS LTD. He was trained as a Safety Engineer at C. WACON NIG LTD. Before then, he was a Sales Engineer at STADE 51 VENTURES LTD.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the Enugu State University of Science and Technology (Nigeria). Since then, he had undergone series of intensive training on HSE amongst which are; Norwegian Petroleum Academy Certification in HSE, Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems (OHSAS 18001) and Auditors Conversion Course, etc.

He is a member of the Institute of Safety Professionals of Nigeria (ISPON).
