Eta Etta-Agbor - Manager, Drilling Engineering Center
Eta joined SEGOFS ENERGY SERVICES in 2010 as a Well Planner/Drilling Engineer and through her proven track of success and achievements, grew to become the Manager, Drilling Engineering Centre.
She brings in over a decade of Well Planning experience to developing directional well plans, producing anti-collision calculations, projections and sidetracks using the Landmark’s COMPASS™ software and running Torque-Drag, Friction Factor Calibration, Hydraulics and Critical Speed Analysis using the Landmark’s WELLPLAN™. She ensures that the needed technical support is provided to the client and the drilling crew on site from planning stage to execution stage and that the survey data on wall plots and COMPASS™ are updated regularly. She is also involved in the training of new engineers.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in Geology from the University of Calabar (Nigeria). She has since then undergone series of intensive training on HSE, Directional Drilling, Landmark’s COMPASS™, WELLPLAN™ and PlanIT software, Well Design, Stuck Pipe Prevention, etc.
