CHIMEZIE OKEKE; Engineer-in-Charge, Operations
Chimezie joined SEGOFS ENERGY SERVICES in 2007 where he was trained as a Directional Driller responsible for drilling several kinds of directional wells. Through his proven track of success and achievements in directional drilling, he grew to become a Lead Directional Driller and later, an Engineer-in-charge.
As an Engineer-in-Charge, Operations, he coordinates the directional drilling operations of the company and ensures that all clients’ needs/requests are available and delivered as at when due. He is also involved in BHA design and the training of younger directional drillers. He has gained over seven years of experience in the oil and gas industry.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in Physics from Abia State University (Nigeria) and has since then undergone series of training in HSE, Directional Drilling, Well Design, Stuck Pipe Prevention, Down Hole Tools Servicing and Testing, and 3D Laser Scanning etc.
