Ben-Chika Uzoagu - Executive Director

Ben-Chika is one of the founding Directors of SEGOFS ENERGY SERVICES LTD and has held the position of Executive Director since inception. He brings more than three decades of experience in Oil Field Administration to managing and motivating individuals and teams in meeting and exceeding company operational goals.

Prior to joining SEGOFS ENERGY SERVICES, Ben-Chika was an Executive Director at SEGOFS LTD, overseeing all company operations. Before then, he was the Administrative Manager at REMM OIL SERVICES where he was in-charge of Company Administration and the Personnel/Human Resources Manager at HALLIBURTON GEOPHYSICAL SERVICES, overseeing staff employment, finance and general administration.

He was trained as a Seismologist and Data Programming Engineer at GEOSOURCE NIGERIA LTD PETTY-RAY GEOPHYSICAL SERVICES where he later became a Party Manager and then an Asst. Party Chief, overseeing all company operations with the Party Chief.

Ben-Chika earned his bachelor’s degree in Physics/Electronics from the University of Port Harcourt (Nigeria). He also underwent series of intensive training in HSE, Leadership, Quality Improvement and Personnel Management. He is a member, Nigerian Institute of Directors.
