SEGOFS LIMITED recognizes the fact that operating companies work in host communities. The host communities thus have the potential to disrupt operations with consequent loss of man-hours. This translates to increased cost of project execution and this sometimes exposes the personnel and environment to all manners of hazards. It is therefore the policy of SEGOFS LIMITED to work in partnership with the host community in line with the operators' policy. We are committed to taking all possible precautions to protect the people and the environment in which we work. We are also committed to developing the community and people we work with. To achieve the above objectives, the following principles must be adhered to where applicable: SEGOFS Management shall provide all necessary materials and equipment needed to carry out our operations in a safe and environmentally friendly manner. Minimize impact on the environment as a result of our job. Provide employment to qualified personnel from our areas of operation . Assist our host communities when the need arises where applicable. All such interactions and initiatives must be cleared and discussed with the Managing Director. This policy must be adhered to at all times. |
